Problem Overview
It is common for artist and art lovers face problems in finding or selling their art pieces specially if the users are not inthe same location. So an application were both art lovers and artist can sell and buy art without location being a hindrance was necessary, also there is that need for flexibility with having other features that can help users save their favorite art pieces and get back to it later
Goal
The goal is to create an application that enables;​

Artist sell their art comfortably and coveniently

Art lovers buy art pieces from every location and have the art shipped to them

Allow artist display their art

Allow users save their favorite art to purchase later
With any application and E-commerce applications specifically, care is taken to make sure that the users understand every part of the system and can easily go through hence the reason for the naming below each icon so that the user is aware of where they are.
User research
My research was done with 7 people in total. 5 in-person interviews and 2 virtual interviews. This interview process was meant to understand the problems artisit and art lover face when purchasing and acquiring art pieces. This process was iterative spanning 3 different rounds based on the feedback gotten from the users. In this process, I got that;
Selling Art pieces:
Interviews were carried out on 7 people in total. 3 out of the 7 people have been faced with the problem of not being able to easily finad platforms to display their art to a wide audience online
Buying Art pieces:
5 out of the 7 people expressed their issue in not having a platform to view and enjoy art and purchase the ones they like
Artcave Experience - How it works
The onboarding Screens and Signup/ SigIn:
The onboarding process is meant to give users a clue of what exactly they will encounter as a result of using this application. Outlining the various functionalities, telling the user what is possible.
The signup/signin process as well is supposed to be as simple as possible, with very minimum information required that the average man will be able to provide.
