Problem statement

Managing TB patients involves handling a large amount of data, frequent monitoring, and following  treatment protocols. The existing systems are often fragmented, unintuitive, and time-consuming, leading to inefficiencies and potential lapses in patient care. CHPR-IS aims to address these issues by providing a comprehensive and easy-to-use system.

User research

User Interviews

Conducted interviews with various stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and expectations from the system. The interviews were conducted on 2 doctors, 3 patients and 2 hospital admins.

Doctors: Need quick access to patient history, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Patients: Desire for an easy way to track their treatment and communicate with their healthcare providers.
Administrative Staff: Require efficient data entry and management tools.

Competitive Analysis

Analyzed existing TB management systems to identify strengths and weaknesses. Key findings include:

  • Many systems lack user-friendly interfaces.

  • Integration of communication tools is often missing.

  • Data visualization and reporting features are generally underdeveloped.
